Last Clinic Day
What a whirlwind of a last day! Only partly due to the fact that I was running at about 60%! I had yet another translator, so I got to learn their unique words for translating (difficulties smelling is actually difficulties breathing, in case you were curious). We also had another teammate get sick so we were down to just me in triage. Which meant that I got to see every single patient! Cool! Exhausting! Humbling! Triage desk all to myself 😬 The best story of the day by far

A Collection of Short Stories
A short day but a good day :) so here’s a collection of short stories ;) Kurdish Church We only worked until two today because the church we are using as our clinic base has Kurdish services on Wednesday nights which they needed to set up for. Bummed that we couldn’t see as many patients but so in awe at this church which serves so many underserved and even hated groups. A Serenade!
I really am so blessed! Despite the short power outage, today ran very smoothly! God’s working in a lot of incredible ways (obviously) and I’m just so grateful I get to be a small part of it. We had a bunch of school children (possibly refugee orphans) come in for some medical attention today which was utter chaos as you would expect, but their adorable faces made the chaos bearable ;) they also came in two waves which made it more challenging but we handled it.
